Unlocking Blue Mage

Requirements

The requirements to unlock Blue Mage are pretty straightforward:

• Have at least one combat class/job at level 50.
• Complete the main scenario quest The Ultimate Weapon

Once you have met the above requirements, you can start the quest Out of the Blue from the Zealous Yellowjacket in Limsa Lominsa (x:9.9, y:11.0).

The quest itself is pretty straightforward, just like any other quest to unlock a new job. The general vibe of Blue Mage quests is pretty goofy and reminds me a bit of Hildibrand. If you enjoyed those quests, you’ll probably enjoy the Blue Mage quests so I would recommend following along with the dialogue and cutscenes!
