Requirements

• At least one combat class/job at level 50
• Complete the main scenario quest “The Ultimate Weapon” (end of A Realm Reborn)
• Access to Limsa Lominsa

That’s it! No other prerequisites.

Quest Details

Quest Name: Out of the Blue

NPC Location: Zealous Yellowjacket in Limsa Lominsa (x:9.9, y:11.0)

Quest Type: Straightforward job unlock quest with goofy, Hildibrand-style humor and dialogue.

After Unlocking

Once you complete the quest, you’ll have Blue Mage unlocked and can:

• Use Blue Mage as your active job
• Access the Masked Carnivale
• Begin learning spells from enemies
• Follow the Getting Started guide for progression

The quest takes about 15 minutes to complete.
